SmartCure Agent Limited

ABOUT US

SmartCure Agent Ltd is a Zambian company established in 2026, dedicated to delivering sustainable and high performance concrete curing and hardening technologies to the construction industry across Africa. The company represents a localized extension of the Danish Concrete Hardener technology originating from JPH A/S in Denmark, bringing globally tested construction solutions into the Zambian market.

SmartCure Agent Ltd is built on the foundation of Danish Concrete Hardener technology developed by JPH A/S, a company with more than 50 years of expertise in concrete curing and impregnation systems. The product line has been rebranded for the local market as SmartCure Agent to better align with Zambia’s construction needs while maintaining its original international standards of quality, performance, and sustainability. The company is owned by Joe Nkausu and Martha Tembo, who oversee its local operations and strategic development within the region.

JPH A/S maintains a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable innovation. The company continuously develops products that reduce environmental impact while improving efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness in concrete construction.

Its sustainability approach is demonstrated through:

(i) Enhancing rapid curing of concrete floors and walls to reduce construction time and costs.
(ii) Promoting healthier working environments through non toxic and low emission concrete treatment solutions.
(iii) Supporting safer construction standards, including improved durability and fire resistant structural performance.

COMPANY HISTORY

The origins of JPH A/S date back to 1965 in Copenhagen, Denmark, when J.P. Hansen developed an impregnating concrete hardener known as Jensen Si 22, initially designed as a concrete dust binding solution. The product was first applied in an industrial paper factory environment where heavy machinery operations caused significant abrasion, dust emissions, and surface deterioration of concrete floors.

The solution proved highly effective in addressing industrial flooring challenges, delivering long lasting protection and improved surface durability even under intensive operational conditions. This success laid the foundation for further innovation in concrete hardening and surface treatment technologies.

In 1988, the company was reorganized as JPH A/S under the leadership of Knud Møller Jensen. It was established in Søndersø, Denmark, where it expanded its operations to include production, information technology, sales and marketing, and logistics functions.

Over time, the company refined its product range and developed improved formulations. Today, its concrete hardener solutions are available in specialized variants designed for floors, walls, and block applications, serving a wide range of construction requirements globally.
